I picked up a recorder at the age of four, and the after-school group told my parents to send me to recorder lessons. A few years later, aged nine, I got my grade eight, and won a scholarship to the Junior Guildhall School of Music, and learned about music, performance and composition. I also learned the cello and piano, and play often. I think music has been the backbone of my life, and now I seek to explore and share musical beauty.

I ind many parallels between music and spirituality, and this is shown throughout history as so much music was written for the church, and music accompanies spiritual activities in most cultures in the world.

The way this manifests for me is twofold, one the one hand I find musical beauty takes me to experiences of spiritual proportions, it seems to describe in a way words cannot. It is as if music is a gateway to the formless. Also for me it has been influenced by my spiritual aspirations to help relieve suffering, and so a lot of my musical activities are now with relaxation and therapy in mind.

The two CDs on here are not really representative of my work, I think they are the first two I made specifically for these purposes. One is a soundscape involving storms, ambient and some classical music, and the other is a rippling gentle piano fantasy set against the sound of waves on the sea shore.

I make a wide variety of music in various styles, classical, ambient, and electronica, I hope to put more of it up for download soon, and will probably make most of it free. I learned how to create music with computers about six years ago, and fell in love with having any sound I could wish for available as a colour for my canvas!

I am currently selecting tracks for a relaxation CD which will be psychoactive.
