COMING SOON - PSYCHOACTIVE HYPNOSIS FOR TIMES OF SUFFERING

Inspiration and Fulfillment, and a Few Setbacks!



Jill and I decided we would write a script together
for people who are experiencing difficult times,
whether they be time in a hospital, periods of pain,
depression, grieving, or existential suffering, we
hope that this product will provide relief and
comfort. We very nearly named it "A Comfort Blanket
for the Soul."

When we wrote it we both had an incredible experience,
and we both felt we were drawing on our own
experiences of serious illness and recovery from it,
and our experience of spiritual practice, with all of
the books and teachings we have received somehow
coming together and flowing into a beautiful gift for
people in times of suffering. The CD is full of gentle
reminders of simple spiritual truths, metaphors from
nature and spiritual teachings of many types. We both
felt that making this was possibly the most fulfilling
experience we have had.

We recorded it and had a similarly moving experience,
and Jill's voice is so full of compassion and
tenderness. I then set it to music, and I did this
during a night shift in a probation hostel, literally
listening and improvising as I felt moved by the
words. The result ended up to be quite simple but
beautiful music, and it really felt as if something
was coming through me rather than something being
created by me. When we listened to it together we were
very moved, and feel that something very wonderful has
come into being.

Unfortunately there was then a series of technical
difficulties, and problems came to light with the
original recording, before my computer died on me! So
we are faced with having to rerecord it, and set the
music to it again. I just hope we can capture the same
magic!
